Hi! My name is Georgina, but most people call me G. I’m a Sydney-based marketing professional with a strong background in the visual arts industry. I have a broad range of experience, from freelance digital marketing and design to managing a local art gallery and then leading a global art institution’s marketing campaigns within a few years. I thrive at the intersection of creativity and strategy.
Most recently, I worked at Sculpture by the Sea and was responsible for the marketing and communications of the world-renowned Bondi exhibition and the new Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail. Prior to that, I managed Sketch Co. Gallery in Surry Hills, where I led the planning, curation, marketing and execution of all gallery exhibitions, events and projects. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from UNSW and began freelancing in digital marketing and graphic design while studying abroad at Penn State in the U.S. in 2019.
Outside of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to undertake several solo travel adventures, play club rugby and pursue volunteer work - including aged care, art programs and junior sports development - all of which have shaped my outlook and deepened my understanding of people and communities. My unique experience has contributed to the well-rounded knowledge and perspective I bring to my work.
